At Cath's excellent suggestion, Book Club is going to attend the Philo Agora Philosophy in the Cafe event discussing Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion before heading to the pub for our own discussion (thus avoiding the vast calamity of an alcohol-free Book Club).
Sydney University's Peter Bowden will present a critical examination of Dawkins' arguments at the Fair Trade Cafe in Glebe - 33 Glebe Point Road, Glebe, 7.30pm May 15th, 2007.
Note that the Philo Agora folks will hit us for a $5 cover charge, but that does mean you're entitled to one free cup of coffee or tea.
